Yong receiving membership forms from Johnny Tanakinjal of Sarapung branchPENAMPANG, Okt 8, 2010: Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) sentiasa mengamalkan prinsip kekeluargaan dalam setiap pemilihan parti tanpa berpuak-puak atau politik wang.

Presiden SAPP Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee berkata, semangat kekeluargaan sesama calon yang ingin bertanding apa jua jawatan dalam parti tertanam dengan sendiri apabila mereka sama-sama berada dalam satu rombongan menghadiri Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan setiap cawangan.

"Setiap calon akan diundang menghadiri semua Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan itu bagi memperkenalkan diri masing-masing.
"Mereka akan sama-sama berada disesuatu tempat ketika beramah mesra dengan para ahli diperingkat cawangan bagi meraih undi dan ini sekaligus merapatkan lagi hubungan sesama calon.

"Parti akan membiayai mesyuarat agung itu dan ini bererti setiap calon tidak perlu mengeluarkan wang belanja seperti mengadakan majlis jamuan makan atau seumpamanya.

"Oleh itu, politik wang dapat dihindari. Hubungan erat sesama calon juga akan bertambah baik selepas pemilihan selesai," katanya.

Yong receiving membership forms from Vitalas Unsin from Moyog branchBeliau berucap merasmikan Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan gabungan cawangan-cawangan parti dalam Jawatankuasa Perhubungan Kawasan (CLC) Moyog di sini. Mesyuarat itu melibatkan cawangan Kimoligan, Pogunon, Tindai, Kibabaig dan Nambazan.

Turut hadir, Timbalan Presiden merangkap Ahli Parlimen Sepanggar Datuk Eric Majimbun yang juga Pengerusi CLC Moyog, Timbalan Presiden merangkap Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Likas Datuk Liew Teck Chan, bekas Menteri Kewangan Sabah Datuk Mohd Noor Mansoor, Setiausaha Agung Datuk Richard Yong dan Naib Presiden merangkap Timbalan Speaker Datuk Frankie Chong.

Tidak ketinggalan, Naib Presiden merangkap Ahli Parlimen Tawau Datuk Dr. Chua Soon Bui, Naib Presiden Amde Sidik, Ketua Penerangan Chong Pit Fah, Ketua Pemuda Edward Dagul dan Ahli Majlis Tertinggi, Dullie Marie, Kenneth Koh dan Yong Chong Kim.

Hadir sama, Naib Pengerusi Moyog, Aloysius Siap, Florian Chong dan Alex Masabal.
Teck Lee berkata, setiap cawangan akan menghantar dua wakil ke kongres parti untuk memilih calon bagi jawatan yang ditandingi.

Beliau berkata, kaedah seperti itu dapat mengelakkan politik wang.

Katanya, kejadian tidak diingini seperti pergaduhan dan politik wang tidak pernah berlaku dalam setiap pemilihan sejak SAPP ditubuhkan pada 1994.

Beliau berkata, pemilihan SAPP sentiasa berjalan dengan lancar tanpa sebarang masalah kerana semangat kekeluargaan sentiasa tersemat dikalangan para calon termasuk para pemimpin dan ahli kerana parti itu mengamalkan budaya perpaduan, komitment, khidmat, kredibiliti, disiplin, ketabahan dan maju.

Tujuh cawangan baru juga akan dibuka di Moyog apabila penengerusi penaja ketujuh-tujuh cawangan itu menyampaikan borang permohonan penubuhan cawangan dan keahlian kepada Teck Lee di majlis itu.
