Tunaikan janji pembangunan sejak PRU12

NABAWAN, Feb 1, 2011: Naib Presiden Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) Jimmy Jawatah mempertikai ketelusan serta tanggung jawab kerajaan Barisan Nasional (BN) khususnya wakil rakyat disitu kerana sanggup membelakangi Kg Loboh dan Kg Ulu Mosopoh dari menikmati arus pembangunan pesat meskipun slogan BN ada menyatakan ‘Rakyat didahulukan, pencapaian diutamakan’ sebaliknya slogan itu ia umpama sekilas kata kata rethorik semata mata.

Katanya, beliau sedih melihat keadaan pembangunan dikawasan akar umbi terutamanya diKg Ulu Mosopoh yang berpopulasi seramai kira kira 200 orang terpaksa mengharungi arus deras sungai setiap kali mengeluarkan hasil pertanian mereka ke bandar kerana ketiadaan jambatan untuk menyeberangi sungai tersebut.

Manakala diKg Loboh, penduduk mengeluh kerana sebatang jalanraya disitu tidak pernah diselenggara menyebabkan keadaan jalanraya berlumpur dan berlobang lobang menyukarkan kenderaan melalui jalanraya tersebut.

"Selain itu…mereka (penduduk) terpaksa memikul tong gas, getah, kopi dan padi setiap kali ke bandar kerana perhubungan jalanraya mereka terputus…keadaan ini amat menyedihkan," kata beliau dalam satu kenyataan disini pada Ahad ketika melakukan lawatan ke perkampongan tersebut pada baru baru ini.

Dalam lawatan tersebut beliau telah diiringi pemimpin pemimpin bahagian SAPP Nabawan terdiri daripada Naib Pengerusi CLC Pilin Marusin, Malik Usau, Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda Turayo Samponon, Ketua Wanita Julie Raphael dan beberapa Ahli Jawatankuasa lain.

Jimmy seterusnya berkata, "Masalah disitu menghantui fikiran saya lalu tertanya tanya dalam hati kecil, apakah yang telah dilakukan oleh wakil rakyat disini selama ini sedangkan mereka (Wakil Rakyat) telah berkhidmat lebih dua penggal. Kenapa masih ada perkampongan yang tercicir dari segi pembangunan,".

Menurut seorang penduduk diKg Mosopoh dan seorang lagi diKg Ulu Mosopoh yang enggan indentiti mereka didedahkan memberitahu bahawa masalah yang dialami perkampongan mereka telah pun dilawati wakil rakyat disitu beberapa kali namun sehingga kini tiada tindakan diambil.

Malahan katanya, harapan mereka untuk mendapat pembelaan daripada kerajaan dari segi pembangunan infrastruktur amat dinanti nantikan kerana kepada siapa lagi mereka menyandarkan harapan selain kerajaan yang diangkat oleh rakyat jelata.
