Penduduk 3 buah kampung di Bongawan tarik nafas lega

BONGAWAN, Jan 9, 2012: Penduduk di 3 buah Kampung iaitu Kg. Viging, Kambau dan Kg. Ambatuan di Bongawan menarik nafas lega dan melahirkan perasaan teruja kerana permintaan mereka kepada wakil rakyat selama lebih 6 tahun untuk meminta perhentian bas telah dapat diselesaikan dalam tempoh kurang 5 jam oleh Pemimpin SAPP Bongawan.

"Rakyat tidak minta banyak, tapi kalau sudah berkali-kali memohon, kita pun jemu, nasib baik SAPP ada, syukurlah ada juga tempat kami berteduh, jangankan minta yang besar perhentian bas untuk penduduk berteduh pun BN tak mampu buat sehingga memaksa kita berteduh di bawah pokok kelapa sawit, bila hujan kita basah kuyup" demikian dinyatakan oleh mantan Pengerusi JKKK Kg. Viging En Fedelis yang kini menyertai SAPP kepada kami.

Menurut En. Jamil William, Naib Pengerusi CLC N.23 Bongawan, masalah masyarakat setempat sebenarnya mudah diselesaikan sekiranya pemimpin lebih prihatin dan bersikap lebih matang. Beliau berkata, peruntukan besar dan memakan masa lebih 6 tahun tidak diperlukan untuk membina sebuah perhentian bas, kemudahan paling asas penduduk luar Bandar, apatah lagi ketiga-tiga buah kampung tersebut hanya kurang 30 minit perjalanan dari Pekan Bongawan.

Jamil yang mendengar masalah penduduk ini kira-kira sebulan yang lepas, telah berusaha mencari dana membeli zink, kayu dan sebagainya untuk tujuan pembinaan, dan akhirnya direalisasikan secara bergotong royong pada hari ini. Menurut beliau lagi beberapa program gotong royong sejajar dengan program "Dengar Lihat dan Selesai" akan turut diadakan dalam masa terdekat untuk membina beberapa buah lagi perhentian bas.

Salah seorang penduduk En. Laimun menyatakan kekesalannya, "Wakil rakyat hanya tahu berjanji dan meminta simpati bila tiba masa pilihanraya, tetapi sebaik pilihanraya selesai, batang hidung pun tak nampak".

Turut hadir bersama bergotong royong ialah En. Jaafar Ismail, Naib Presiden/Pengerusi CLC Bongawan serta En. Jamain Sarudin, Setiausaha Penganjur Pusat/Pengerusi CLC N.27 Lumadan, serta ahli jawatankuasa CLC N.23 Bongawan.
