SAPP dan STAR komited untuk menuntut perjanjian Msia 1963

KENINGAU (Sabah Malaysia): Datuk Frankie Chong berkata, jalinan kerjasama diantara parti SAPP dan STAR bagi menghadapi pilihanraya ke-13, merupakan satu permulaan yang baik untuk mereliasasikan 'Agenda Borneo'.

SAPP adalah Parti Maju Sabah pimpinan Datuk Yong Teck Lee sementara STAR ialah Parti Reformasi Negeri yang dipimpin oleh Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan di Sabah.

Kedua-dua parti ini lahir dalam kepulauan Borneo.

"Parti ini mempunyai perjuangan yang sama, untuk mempertahankan hak-hak Sabah, autonomi dan kedaulatan negeri ini," katanya dalam satu perutusan Tahun Baru Cina 2012. Frankie merupakan Naib Presiden Parti SAPP dan Timbalan Speakar Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah beliau adalah anak kelahiran Daerah Tenom.

Sambil merujuk perjuangan Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan untuk memperjuangkan hak-hak negeri Sabah, Frankie berkata, "SAPP dan STAR komited untuk menuntut Perjanjian Malaysia 1963 dan memperjuangkan 'Kebebasan Penjajahan 48' oleh Kuala Lumpur terhadap negeri Sabah. Beliau mengajak seluruh rakyat Sabah yang terdiri daripada pelbagai lapisan kaum, fahaman agama dan status ekonomi, supaya bersatu untuk memastikan pilihanraya ke-13 ini memihak kepada rakyat negeri ini.

"Ini adalah peluang terakhir bagi kita," katanya.

Ketika ditemui pada Sabtu semasa melakukan kunjungan bersama dengan Datuk Jeffrey Kitingan bagi menemui rakyat di kawasan Bandar Keningau, Frankie berkata, "Sesuatu yang amat menyedihkan apabila penduduk tempatan menjadi pelarian di negeri sendiri, disebabkan kecuaian ibubapa,", katanya dan menambah, tidak mustahil satu tanggapan bahawa pada suatu hari yang akan datang, anak cucu penduduk tempatan bertuankan orang asing jika mengabaikan tanggungjawab untuk menyelamatkan negeri ini.
