50 keluar Umno dan PKR sertai SAPP

BEAUFORT, Februari 28, 2013: Rabu; Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) bagi kawasan CLC N.25 Klias menerima kemasukan beramai-ramai ahli UMNO dan PKR menyertai SAPP yang diketuai oleh Mantan Ketua Cawangan UMNO Kg. Klias Baru En. Punis Bin Siding di rumah kediaman beliau di Kg. Kubu Kubu malam tadi.

Sanusi Taripin Naib Pengerusi CLC menerima keahlian ahli-ahli baru, merasa cukup berbesar hati dengan peningkatan sokongan terhadap SAPP.

En. Punis berkata beliau memilih untuk meletakkan keahlian daripada UMNO kerana hilang kepercayaan terhadap parti tersebut. Beliau yakin hanya parti tempatan sahaja boleh membela nasib rakyat dengan lebih baik. Punis berkata ramai orang masih takut-takut untuk menampilkan diri dan berjuang bersama pembangkang terutama SAPP kerana takut pelbagai kemudahan dipotong oleh pihak berkenaan. Beliau menyifatkan tindakan memotong bantuan adalah tindakan pengecut pihak kerajaan.

"Bermakna dia orang tidak ikhlas membantu, harga barang bukan main lagi sudah naik, kalau sudah naik mana mungkin harga itu turun, kami orang kampong yang mati.

Punis menyertai UMNO sejak 1994 merasakan wajarlah baginya serta kaum keluarganya bertindak keluar dari UMNO/BN dan menyertai SAPP. Penyertaan ahli baru ini daripada Kg. Kubu dan Kg. Selagon. Salah seorang lagi yang enggan namanya disiarkan berkata, beliau merupakan bekas ahli PKR. "Suatu masa saya tidak ada pilihan, dulu Cuma BN dan PKR. Sekarang saya ada pilihan, maka itu saya ikut SAPP, parti tempatan".

Turut hadir di majlis serba ringkas itu ialah Jamain Sarudin, Setiausaha Penganjur Pusat dan Thomas Chong Pengerusi CLC N.25 Klias.
