SAPP yakin menang di Sepanggar

KOTA KINABALU, April 26, 2013: Lagu 'menang' Presiden Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP), Datuk Yong Teck Lee menghangatkan suasana majlis perjumpaan bersama rakyat parti itu di pekan Inanam dua hari lalu.

Yong menyelitkan lagu 'di sini menang, di sana menang, di mana-mana pun kita menang' yang diadaptasi dari lagu kanak-kanak 'di sini senang di sana senang' sebanyak lima kali sepanjang ucapannya.

Tambah mengamatkan apabila beliau mengajak hadirin untuk bersama-sama menyanyi lagu itu bagi menggambarkan bahawa SAPP boleh menang di kawasan Parlimen P171 Sepanggar dan kedua-dua kerusi DUN kawasan itu iaitu N12 Karambunai dan N13 Inanam.

Beliau berkata, peluang SAPP menumbangkan BN di kawasan itu lebih baik berbanding dengan parti pembangkang lain kerana ia mendapat sokongan menyeluruh.

Sehubungan itu, beliau mengajak pengundi memilih SAPP untuk menumbangkan BN di kawasan Parlimen dan dua kawasan DUN itu.

Kawasan P171 Sepanggar melibatkan pertandingan empat penjuru antara Datuk Jumat Hj Idris (BN-Umno), Don Chin Hon Kiong (SAPP), Jeffrey Kumin @ John (DAP) dan Daniel John Jambun (Star).

Kerusi itu dimenangi BN menerusi calon SAPP, Datuk Eric Majimbun selama dua penggal sebelum parti itu bertindak keluar dari BN selepas PRU12.

Pada PRU12, Eric menang dengan majority 11,461 undi selepas mendapat 16,884 undi mengalahkan Ewol Edward Muji (DAP-3,709) dan Mohd Ibrahim Abdullah Yembun (Bebas- 5,423).

N12 Karambunai menyaksikan pertandingan lima penjuru antara Datuk Jainab Ahmad (BN-Umno), Muali Aching (PKR), Aziz Ibrahim (SAPP) dan dua calon Bebas iaitu Rano Susulan dan Awang Maidin Ag Apung.

Jainab juga adalah penyandang dua penggal kawasan itu. Pada PRU12, beliau menang dengan majority 3,018 undi selepas meraih 7,914 undi mengalahkan lawan tunggal Ag Maidin (PKR- 4,896).

Kawasan N13 Inanam pula menyaksikan pertandingan tiga penjuru antara Jospeh Paulus Lantip (BN-PBS), Datuk Eric Majimbun (SAPP) dan Dr Roland Chia (PKR).

Pada PRU12 2008, kerusi DUN Inanam dimenangi Johnny Goh (BN-PBS) dengan majority 1,686 undi.

Johnny meraih 5,979 undi menewaskan Daniel John (PKR-4,293),Jeffrey Kumin (DAP-2,864) dan Clarence Chin (Bebas-196).

Turut bersama di majlis itu adalah Eric, Don Chin, Aziz, Chong Pit Fah dan Wong Yit Min.
