Sabah's poor and needy
Kepayan,
June 27, 2010: ex-Kapitan Peter Chong (standing) posing with destitute single mom, Roslinah,
her two young girls and her 64-year-old mother who is paralysed from waist
down, during a routine visit on them on Friday 25 June, 2010 to deliver
some essential items.
Roslinah and her family are currently living in a
dilapidated wooden hut, in Kg Tampiku, Kepayan, about 20-minute drive from
KK City.
She was left to fend for herself and to provide for her three children
aged 17, 13 and 9 (mentally-handicapped) and her mother, after her husband
left her a few years ago.
She and her family are now literally living on
charity. Those who are keen to help her and her family could always
contact Chong of Kapitan Welfare Association at 012-8339713, to arrange for a visit on Roslinah.
