212 participants at SAPP KK Zone Chess Competition

Kinabalu, Jun 6, 2009: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Chinese Chess
competition was successfully held at Foh Sang square from Jun 5 to
6.
The competition
held every year, attracted 212 enthusiastic young participants from primary to
secondary schools around Kota Kinabalu.
The event was
organised by the Luyang Constituency Liaison Committee and
participated by Api-Api, Kepayan, Likas and Tanjung Aru
Constituency Liaison Committees. Its organising chairperson was
Puan Melanie Chia, Luyang CLC chief and Luyang assemblywoman.
The event was
officially opened by SAPP president, Datuk Yong Teck Lee.
