2012 May 29 - SAPP's Kaamatan joy to Kadamaian

Ka'amatan joy to Kadamaian

KOTA BELUD, May 29, 2012: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Kadamaian held its annual harvest festival celebrations at Kampung Malangkap Baru and Kampung Sogoh on the 25th May 2012.

Opening ceremony of the function was officiated by Deputy President Datuk Eric Majimbun at Kampung Malangkap Homestay.

The organizing chairman Danil Kassim expressed his gratitude that SAPP Kadamaian had been celebrating the harvest festival for the past 12 years, and at different branches since the SAPP N7 Kadamaian CLC Office was set up and now that it is the turn of Kg Malangkap for its members to be together with SAPP Leaders at this celebration.

The next Harvest festival celebration was continued at Kampung Sogoh the same day at 3 pm. Its organising chairman, Ratiman Ebok expressed appreciation to Datuk Eric Majimbun and all SAPP Leaders who had come all the way from Kota Kinabalu to attend the function which brought joys and enliven the festive mood/atmosphere of the people of Kampung Sogoh.

He also expressed thanks to the Chairman of SAPP Kadamaian Agnes Liewpin for her efforts and support to make their celebrations a success and more meaningful this year.

Also present at the function are Supreme councillors Japiril Suhaimin, Peter Marajin and Steven Gaimin; CLC Usukan Chairman Jimmy Tai and committee members Lim Yaw Sing, Yong Kai Wah and Patrick Chua.
