Dullie to Mojigoh:
Who are you helping?
Kota
Kinabalu, May 12, 2010: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Supreme Councillor
and Petagas CLC Chairman, Dullie Marie today referred the Putatan MP Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh's statement in
the local
papers as of a desperate man trying to wriggle his way out of the
proverbial hole of fairy tales and concocted stories.
"It was actually Mojigoh who claimed "as a person who knows about
positional fixing and international boundaries as well as the Exclusive
Economic Zone (EEZ)" that he can show Datuk Yong Teck Lee and Datuk Dr
Jeffrey Kitingan "anytime and anywhere". So, it was never a question of
SAPP not being patient.
"Datuk Yong Teck Lee had on 4th May 2010 asked for the State to publish
an official map of Sabah showing our maritime boundaries.
"As for the implication, nobody ever said anything about the Attorney
General. By the way, who is the current State Attorney General? As
reported that since the State cabinet was briefed twice, surely they have
some opinion legal or otherwise. Can the State government disclose these
matters? In addition, both SAPP's Sepanggar and Tawau MPs already filed in
questions and motion for the coming Parliament session.
"Since this is a national issue that has a direct effect to the future Sabah's territorial boundaries, most concerned Sabahans want to know what
really transpired and it should be made public.
"The Ex-Premier, Tun Ahmad Badawi said he did it, on his capacity as PM
of Malaysia . As claimed by Tun Mahathir, Abdullah Badawai had surrendered
the two blocks in exchange for the claim made by Brunei over Limbang, to
which the Second Finance Minister of Brunei vehemently denied.
"Datuk Yong Teck Lee has directed several questions to both the Federal
and State Governments and none of these questions has been furnished with
any answer. Instead, Putatan MP Datuk Dr. Marcus Mojigoh has came out
with statement trying to down play the seriousness of the matter. What
Mojigoh seemed to be doing was trying to get Sabah people not to be overly
concerned about the important issue of national boundaries and Sabah
interest.
"Who is he helping? Mojigoh said he has got heart for Sabah
, then show us your heart," said Dullie.
"As a Sabah MP, Datuk Mojigoh instead of raising concern for Sabah's
interest had tried to mislead the public that Block L and M are purely
watered areas and different from landed areas. At the same time he
mentioned that 'those letters of exchange and related documents never say
that these two blocks are within Sabah' apparently Mojigoh seemed to have
knowledge about the exchange. He should now explain to the people of Sabah
without delay, why wait till the Dewan to debate? Yet he was asking Datuk
Yong Teck Lee to furnish the related documents.
