Gabungan Sabah (USA) leaders signs joint declaration of cooperation

KOTA KINABALU, November 16, 2016: A joint declaration was signed by leaders of Gabungan Sabah (United Sabah Alliance) in Kota Kinabalu on 15 November 2016.

The three parties in the declaration agree to work together to identify state and parliamentary seats that Gabungan Sabah intends to contest and cooperate on the said seats distribution within Gabungan Sabah for the forthcoming General Election.

More importantly, in adopting a common election manifesto, they consented not to contest against each other at either state or parliamentary seats.

The declaration among others stated on the adoption of a common election manifesto and to liaise and cooperate with any other local opposition parties or organisations in the next elections for regime change in Malaysia towards a new order in Sabah.

The positive steps were realised to meet the people's aspirations to see a one-to-one contest against BN in the next general election.

Gabungan Sabah's Secretary, Edward Dagul, said the joint Declaration by the three Presidents and Gabungan Sabah's Chairman, exemplify the determination to create a strong mutual understanding in achieving a Sabah for Sabahans and Unity in Solidarity for Autonomy.

Signatories to the declaration are Datuk Hj Mohd Noor Mansoor in his capacity as the Chairman of Gabungan Sabah; Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing of Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS), Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan of STAR and Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee of SAPP, witnessed by the council members.
