Yong Teck Lee: "This is my promise to you, that our struggle continues and I will always be by your side"...."Trust and integrity of the leaders are fundamental to the future of a country or a government or, in our case, SAPP as a serious political party of the future"

This is the start, not the finish of our journey

SAPP president Yong Teck Lee accepts his first electoral defeat in 8 outings, and vows to continue his 'Sabah for Sabahan' struggle.

"Yes, this is my first defeat in Batu Sapi. But our party values number six as it means 'resilience'. You fall, and you get up again,"

"You will fight and fight until you win, until you achieve autonomy for Sabah and a better deal for Sabah."

SAPP: Now you admit, so take action!

At last, the Federal Minister finally admits that there are bogus agents going round the State selling identification documents. This admission from the Federal Home Minister is important as if it happens now, one should not discount the possibility of such a matter has happened in the past.

"We in Sabah have known this fact for years. Others like MD Mutalib has even written books with names and NRIC numbers to prove the existence of fake identification documents obtained through dubious means. But what actions have been taken by the authorities? To the layman, none.

"Datuk Hishamuddin Tun Hussein should instruct officers in his Ministry to further investigate the claims by MD Mutalib. Even though the misdeed was in the past, one should be of the opinion that a wrong deed is and will always be a wrong deed.

"The adage that time heals should not apply as when the sovereignty of the nation is at stake. Handing out identification documents through dubious ways threatens the nation’s security hence it’s sovereignty.

"If a full investigation is carried out, then in order to be consistent in stand and action, the home minister should also “ not hesitate to take stern actions “ against these agents as well as those who obtained these fake documents in the past.
